    Surrinder Kumar Handoo

    Vice President

    Surrinder Kumar Handoo a qualified and technically-proficient material research scientist with more than 32 years cement research & industry experience has excellent academic qualifications, and he has specialised in sophisticated research techniques and technologies in material testing and development and has an expertise in quality management data collection/analysis and project management  setting up, .assessment and up-gradation and accreditation of cement testing Laboratories  Surrinder has worked as Jt. Director & Head of Centre Quality Management, Standards and Calibration Services (CQC), Business Promotion & Customer Relations (BPC) at National Council for Cement and Building Materials, Ballabgarh a well known and internationally recognized cement research institute   Earlier he was  the General Manager & Head of Centre,  Quality Management, Standards & Calibration Services. 

    After completing his Ph. D in Physics (1977), Molecular Spectroscopy, Surrinder  joined the then  Cement Research of India and has undertaken a large number of R & D and sponsored projects in the areas of development of newer materials,  products and processes quality management. He has more than 59 research publications in the National & International journals to his credit. He has participated in a number of National & International Seminars, Symposia, and Conferences. Has visited several countries under Exchange program, study visits, participation in Seminars Conferences, Marketing activities etc. Surrinder has three patents on fast setting high early strength cement and Alumina Zircon Refractory (AZR) bricks and integral water proofing compound to his credit.     J Weir

    With a focus on commercial litigation Mr. Weir has worked with clients ranging from small and medium businesses regarding simple contract cases and shareholder disputes to major complex litigation such as the Greymac Trust and Dome Petroleum matters. He has applied his experience in commercial litigation to matrimonial matters where asset valuation, fraud and hidden assets are significant issues. He represents employees in wrongful dismissal actions. With his experience in commercial litigation he assists business immigration applicants to obtain successful results.

     He is a recognized expert in commercial litigation.  He wrote the commercial litigation column for Canadian Lawyers Weekly for 10 years and frequently contributes articles to the Advocate’s Brief, the publication of the Advocates Society of Ontario.  As well he has co-authored the Critical Concepts of Canadian Business Law, a text that is widely used in business schools across Canada.  He is the Chair of the Technology Task Force of the Advocates Society and is a former instructor in civil litigation in the Bar Admission course run by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

    A frequent guest lecturer, he has spoken at a variety of schools of business and law schools.

     Sanjay Sharma is currently an independent consultant having over 15 years of project experience in India and Canada. Previously, he worked as Account Manager at Bell Mobility. In this role, he was responsible for the business acquisition for wireless services. He is well verse on supply chain, project management & information technology, including telecom & wireless applications - handheld application for remote data services. Mr. Sharma was also Country Head for Domtex Australia Fashion Homeware's product development and sourcing operations, where he worked for large retailer’s sourcing operations. He is a member of Purchasing Management Association of Canada. Mr. Sharma has Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Accounting, MBA & Certification in Purchasing (Ontario Institute of Purchasing Management of Canada).
